Considering how long the human species has been on this planet and evolved through numerous adventures of developing acceptable forms of civilizations one would be lead to believe they would have perfected at least one by now. One thing for certain, all people everywhere want exactly the same things; shelter, food, water, good health and peace. What we have found throughout the centuries is that many people have had these things, that is, until the governments - those who position themselves to get others to believe they can handle their business better than they do - organized a format of operation that in itself is governed by those they align themselves with. These alliances are also forms of government; corporate, religious and military. All governments are formed this way. When they are - then the structure of civilization is designed by those governments. It is safe to say that civilization changes each time the governments do. Within this scenario we find that the individual is lost. They become an integral part of the function of the government that controls them. Many do this by choice - a choice that is not based on truth or fact - but only a prescription of control to get as many as possible to comply with the whims of the governments structure. History has written these observations and thus their conclusions. People do not make war on each other - governments do.
When governments are threatened by the very people they are supposed to represent their first reaction is to respond with their private army a.k.a. police, and/or a police action in an effort to subdue the unrest and to protect themselves from any change in their operations that may occur as a result of the peoples discourse.
What protections do the people have against tyrannical governments? We have seen this all over the world, for centuries. Of course what we hear is what these governments want us to hear. Everyone is wrong except them. They are never wrong...according to them.
There are endless descriptions or stereotypes of the people and we have found that these are created by the very governments to persuade the population that these radicals are a minority. The world population is not a minority...however...governments are. When governments, corporations, religions and military's become out of control the people of the world have a lot to be concerned about.
It is a human responsibility to maintain control and balance within these very organizations they have allowed to exist. Their only option when such control has gone astray is to bring it to full accountability and, if need be, to dismantle it and reorganize...that is, if they freely chose to continue along the same lines as to what has proven to be the downfall of humanity all over the world.
The people of the world have become tired of these failing organizations and collectively desire to go another way...the way of Peace. This is not a dream, it is not an illusion or a fantasy...it is the reality that these governments and corporations do not desire this path...it is not profitable to them. Viewing the United States alone it should be well understood that the national population is far greater than all the members of the entire government and their corporations combined. Imagine that in every country in the world. Now, who really has control? Final question: "What if they gave a war and nobody came?"
